In terms of actual comic feats, I don’t recall either armor being used all that creatively to accomplish much. The Bleeding Edge Armor was nanotech, as was the Prime Armor from the All-New All-Different era. That single-issue took place in the distant future and suggested that nano-tech would be Iron Man’s most advanced final form when Tony retires. Iron Man: The End might have preceded or coincided with Extremis chronologically in terms of release date. In terms of combat feats, this was the first time in quite a while that Iron Man returned to his old power level from the Classic Armor, Silver Centurion Armor, and Modular Armor days. He also gains the ability to remotely interface with all digital tech and remotely control all of his suits and multi-task with superhuman efficiency.
Being called an upgrade to Extremis by Mr. He displayed speed enough to catch Sentry unaware, and it was only due to Sentrys 'two second in the future. Deemed as bleeding edge, this armor was created as Tony Stark essentially reinvented himself and the armor. And the golden undersuit of the armor is nanotech housed in Tony’s bone marrow. I dont know how good Tony would fare with his Extremis armor, what was his best feats against opponents more powerful than himself I know that Bleeding Edge Tony had a nice showing against Rulk, but not on Extremis. Im more curious what that cannon he had strapped to his arm could do when he was effectively playing possum to that Hammer girl, but instead, we just got to see his weapon, not what it does yet. As far as Tony’s suit from MCU is concerned then its based on Gold Titanium alloy and bleeding edge armor will be more or less based on the material of similar properties, slight improvements but not as tough as Adamantium.
The red portions of the armor can fly over to him, like the MCU Mark 42. This new Bleeding Edge armor is meant to take full advantage of his Extremis, nearly limitless energy production, and technology far beyond the Extremis armor. Then you get the Extremis Armor when Tony is sort of a cyborg. Then we have the Pentagon Armor and it’s variants, which were relatively typical suits.
SKIN armor was preceded by the Heroes Return armor. Off the top of my head, the short-lived SKIN armor had the gold portions of the armor be a kind of liquid metal that flowed from the red chest armor. MK XLVII to MK L (Where the suit is now Nanotech)? MK VI to MK VII (Where the suit can form around Tony unassisted)? Thankfully, one of those upgrades wasnt to Starks Bleeding Edge armor - one of the grossest and coolest armors Iron Man has worn in the comics. Tony Starks Iron Man armor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe underwent various upgrades since the character first appeared in 2008s Iron Man. When asked if the Bleeding Edge is an upgrade to Extremis, Stark comments. Sepster wrote:Which armor transition in the comics is the equivalent of the MCU's: Iron Man Never Got His Coolest (Grossest) Armor in The MCU hot . Iron Mans armor is a fictional powered exoskeleton appearing in American.
